MADISON de Rozario has a score to settle in today's Oz Day 10K wheelchair race at the Rocks.
After back-to-back victories in the iconic race the Paralympian was narrowly beaten by Switzerland's Manuela Schar last year.
"It will be interesting; the girl who beat me last year is here again," de Rozario said.
"We've had a couple of good races out on the track recently which were quite evenly matched so it will be really interesting to see how it plays out."
It's a similar story in the men's race, with Kurt Fearnley keen to get back on track after his streak of nine wins ended last year.
De Rozario, 21, said she had come back strongly from injury.
"I've actually been injured so I've had five months off, then six weeks of training in the lead up,'' she said.
"I've sort of surprised myself on the track so hopefully it will turn out well but I'm not making any promises."
This morning's race will be the 26th year of the iconic Oz Day 10k.
"The race is always amazing, it's the biggest wheelchair event we have in Australia," de Rozario said.

"It's got a really good vibe, it draws a really big crowd. I think one of the biggest things about it is that it's actually only two-and-a-half kilometres back and forward."
"So there are a lot people all in the one spot and the vibe is really, really good."
De Rozario, who has a neurological disease which affects her spinal cord, competed at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics at just 14, making her the youngest athlete ever to represent Australia at either the Olympics or Paralympics.
"It was scary, I'm gonna be honest," she said about her first Paralympics.
"It was an amazing experience coming home with silver in our relay, it was much better than anything I ever expected," she said.
She began her career as a sprinter before moving to longer distances after the 2012 London Paralympics.
"We normally try to wait till you're a little bit older to do the change because you've got to keep up with the training programs that the longer distances require," de Rosario said.
De Rosario is looking ahead to 2016 where she will be hoping to make a big impact at the Paralympics in Rio.
"I'm really looking forward to doing these events," de Rosario said. "I think I l have a better chance than I ever did."
Until then, de Rosario will be busy preparing for the World Championships in Doha in October.
"We're going to Switzerland and then hopefully Indianapolis in the lead up to World Championships," she said. "So hopefully it will be a good year."
The 10km Oz Day race will begin at 9am at The Rocks today.
